The 60 second business: scam or spam?

Yes, the claim is that within 60 seconds you can have your own customized business. But is this really possible?

I have seen and tried many other products that have made similar claims. So far none have lived up to the promises.

So is this just another spam building system, or simply a scam? And is a 60 second business even possible?

Fair questions indeed.

First I would like to share this quote with you:

Some key concepts here are simplification, design, layout and processes.

What if using technology it was possible to enhance the currents systems and procedures to improve quality and reduce time? After all this has been done in every other industry. Why not marketing?

So far all attempts I have seen to do this fall short. So what about FusionBox?

Well FusionBoxes come in two forms. Business templates and complete business in a boxes.

The first is not really a business ready to go, but a complete business that requires you to add your own products and sales copy. This alone though has huge advantages.

It can save a lot of time, headache and setup costs. But it’s not really a ‘ready to go business’ in 60 seconds.

The seed of speed

This is especially true in the information and software service based industries which are changing and releasing at ever rapid rates.

Even from a very simplistic perspective of ‘how can I make more money faster?’ speed is obviously a critical factor.

The faster you can get your product to market, and the faster you can repeat the product creation and launch cycle, the faster you can build and scale your . That is if you don’t take short cuts that lead to project failure of course.

Not every project will be a . Indeed, a former CEO of IBM once said the was ‘to increase your failure rate’.

This quick turn around period that is the essence of an MVP gives you this ability to speed your as well as to launch quicker.

There are a few simple things you can do to help you achieve this.

1) Don’t be a perfectionist (easier said than done for many entrepreneurs)

2) Use a team, or become part of a team. Together Everyone Achieves More. Once again this is something I hear people complaining they can not afford a team. Get creative, find different ways to partner with people. You can not afford not to have a team. (and trying to hold on to a 100% of the profit will only leave you with less in the long run)

3) Create systems. Boring I know. But systematization is the key to any . Just ask McDonald’s, SubWay or Toyota. Good systems help reduce cost and increase efficiency (make things faster).

4) Don’t re-invent the wheel. If something already exists that you can use that will get the job done, then use it. For example templates already exist, and in most cases are going to do as well as anything you may try to get custom made. Images for sales pages can be bought for a couple dollars from somewhere like iStockPhoto, there is no need to go and take the photos yourself.

In information and there are many things you can do to increase the speed to launch, and to scale your business faster.

To give you some ideas of what you can do I have listed just a few of the things we have done inside of FusionHQ to assist in this process:

This may sound unbelievable, but really it is inevitable. Think of any industry – as it develops it creates better systems to increase efficiency.

Good Looking Web Fonts – Thanks to Google…

web fontsWeb developers have long struggled with the font dilemma.

You want good looking fonts to work, and look the same, on everyone’s computer.

For those of you who are unaware of the problem, it basically boils down to this…

Fonts are stored on a users computer. Therefore if you use a font in your web page you rely on the viewer having the correct font on their computer, or risk it being substituted for something that does not look the same, and may throw the entire out.

As a marketer and copy writer this has meant either having dull looking headlines, or having to create our headlines in a graphics package and then using them as an image.

Images are not as SEO friendly, take longer to make, longer to load, take longer to edit and require more server resources.

Thankfully have once again come up with the answer. A very simple solution…

FusionHQ Made to Look to Easy?

FusionHQ drag and dropI wanted to address an issue raised by a few people during our recent …

A few comments suggested that is not as easy to use as I have made it look at or on webinars. I feel these comments are both correct and incorrect.

Let me explain…

FusionHQ is extremely easy to use – when you know how. Of course I know how.

However there is a , as with anything. (Just remember learning to drive a car, now how easy is it?)

The point to make for those still learning is this… It is much faster to learn and much faster to use than the alternatives out there.

FusionHQ is drag and drop simple. You do need to know what you are dragging though, and why.

We have many users who have mastered using FusionHQ without any assistance from us. That said we do appreciated some people need more of a hand, and you will find more training vids being added every week now. We have also increased the size of our customer support department.

Building an is a bit like building a house. There are many different parts and skills required, and they all need to interconnect properly.

For those of you new to this then you will not appreciate how difficult it can be to learn each of the different elements, such as integrating autoresponders, settings up CMS’s, integrating payment gateways, adding affiliate tracking systems, designing the layout of your sales copy etc etc.

What FusionHQ does is to bring these elements together so they are already connected for you. It simplifies the entire process.

I have been doing for several years now, and have had the opportunity to use many of the different tools out there, and have connected many of them together for different projects.

I can assure you nothing is simpler from my experience. If you think FusionHQ is hard then you will be in for a shock when you try to learn everything else.

I should also mention that FusionHQ is a tool. That means you need to know what you want to do with it.

It is extremely flexible, and not a cookie cutter system. That means you can set up one of many different online models with it. However you do need to know what you are trying to achieve with it.

I am currently working on a training program that we will release shortly. This will help those of you who have no background in Marketing, and are unsure what it is you are trying to do. (We previously made the mistake of assuming people bought FusionHQ knowing what they wanted it for. Those that did are thriving well, those who did not are struggling. We will put this right very soon though so that everyone can succeed.)

So to sum up…

Yes, FusionHQ is easy to use, but you do need to learn how to use it, and know what you want to do with it.

Once you have a plan and know what direction you want to go FusionHQ is most likely going to be your easiest solution.
